James Knapp

FOUNDER + LEAD DESIGNER

James serves as both lead designer and project manager. A visionary designer with a passion for creating vibrant communities, he works collaboratively with the project team to foster a shared vision and produce highly marketable communities. With 20+ years of experience, James’ insight and skill set provide a thoughtful approach influential to telling a site’s unique story. His passion is rooted in bringing people together to connect with the natural character of the space.

While the breadth of his experience is rewarding, James is most at home with some trace paper, scale, and a pencil. Married to his high school sweetheart, he enjoys spending time together with their two sons.
